Back end of a back-to-back, on the road, to a top veteran team. Isn't this a guaranteed loss?
 
This will be a fun game to watch; we'll see how much better we are. I hope to see some Carroll - he sparked us the last time we played the Spurs in the playoffs.

This is the ONE game of the year I wouldn't bet on the Jazz to win. San Antonio has owned this team for the past decade. I just don't see us having much of a chance, especially with the game being played in San Antonio (on the second game of a back-to-back). I'd put Utah's chances of winning at 20%

Something to back this statement up;
Popovich started Leonard over Jefferson at the mid-season, while Corbin wasting precious minutes on Roger Braille when Burks was begging for pt. If its for team`s benefit, Pop can make radical decisions without hesitation.

Great post.
How can Corbin continue to play someone like an over the hill Tinsley instead of Burks?
I like Carroll and Tinsley just fine, and they're great players to have on your team.... but not in front of a first round lottery pick that was acquired by trading one of the best players in Jazz history.

Probably because Tinsley is a PG and Burks isn't.

I'm very glad you pointed this out, as I was extremely confused.
I definitely noticed Tinsley's extensive PG background helping the Jazz to a two point loss, with both of New Orleans stars not playing.

Just a hunch, but.....
Wouldn't you think you'd want a player on the court that actually drives to the rim, and gets to the free throw line?
Or is this the new Jazz basketball where Mo Williams has the green light to shoot 6 for 16 from the field on jump shots?
 
Ginobili is expected to play limited minutes, during which he'll likely find a way to kill the Jazz like he always seems to do.
