As stated, the Rockets are not designed for playoff basketball. They are not playing to win games, but playing to game the system. It worked fabulously in the regular season, just enough to reinforce such bad habits that are now too hard to correct and overcome. We’ve begun the process of getting in their heads as the pressure will now be mounting on Paul, Harden, and D’Antoni with their past playoff performances.

Jae has, as predicted, started to rattle Harden.

Mike Tyson makes JazzFanz history as he makes his debut appearance in game threads. He goes on to lead the Jazz to a 9-game winning streak. As today is May the Fourth, this one’s for you, buddy!

And a special shoutout to the guy who helped us be aggressive and hone that killer instinct.

Is this thread lacking in rich storyline, silly photoshops (let’s be real, it’s MS Paint), and awesome GIFs? Yes, yes it is. Stories and GIFs have not been forgotten but are pending and in the wings. But that will all be made up for, and explained by, tonight’s game thread girl — my girl:

Born last night, she’s the 5th (and final) of five children, and our only girl. Would be great for her birth date to be straddling Jazz playoff victories!

Congrats man! Girls are the best, I have three, they are also the worst and will make your life hell sometimes. U have to have at least one though so that you have someone to take care of you when you old.

We have daily arguments with our girls starting around 18 months old about what they can wear... I’ve never had that argument with my boy in 11 years... different creatures for sure.

So much pressure to put on your new daughter (congrats by the way). But I can’t think of a better game girl. I fully support it.

No idea how to manage expectations for this game. I think we are very capable of beating Houston, especially at home. I just hope we play our game and the crowd is lit.

As long as Houston doesn’t go insane from 3 I think we can beat them.
