I want to see if Rudy can guard Dirk and shut down that outside fade away.

Work perfectly for the Mavericks after watching Gobert blocking shots at the rim against Cleveland to pull Gobert out to the free throw line and out trying to stop Nowitzski.
Nowitzski easily shot over Booker in their 1st meeting.Kanter stuck out at the 3 pt line with Love not chasing the small guards and leaving his guy wide open for 3 pointers and open jumpers.I don't care about the little guys with Favors and Gobert as the last line of defense ,Kanter has to stick with his assignment.Kanter has to be in Nowitzski's face and make him put it on the floor where he can body him up.Booker is just too small against Nowitzski.

He has hoped for an easier situation twice now so you do have a point. I don't know if 2 times constitutes always, but I do feel that the majority of your posts are rude towards other posters. Its ok though, do what you do

NAOS' attitude - "I've got nothing better to contribute, so let's pick a fight".

Booker's tall enough, it's not like we're putting Mugsy Bogues on him. Good effort will make it tougher for him than just height.

Relative to the average, I give plenty of thoughtful analyses on this board.

One of my analyses is that you consistently speak like a ****in loser.

It's not about results, it's about seeing if Dirk can shoot over a tower.

.

It's Dirk, he's not tearing up the league with his driving ability. Not at his age on those knees. Kanter should be able to commit to him on the outside and contest those shots.

We all know he won't but he should be able to. That Booker (6'8) is our best bet in guarding Dirk (7'0) is more a statement about Kanter's lack of effort than Booker's effort imo.

Either way if they can take Dirk off his spots, make his shooting uncomfortable and force him to dribble then that should be enough to take him out of his game.
