Game Of Thrones

Highly enjoyable episode though much of the first 20 minutes or so of the actual battle was tough to see. Still great.

Yet the writing was pretty bad and strategy by the Winterfellers was ****. I’d have had a huge barrier of wildfire (I know that’s Cersei’s thing but I’m sure they have it too) around the perimeter. Then another barrier of it 75 yards out. Then another, another 75 yards out. With multiple 13 foot trenches here and there. Funnel and burn basically. Wtf. Terrible strategy. Moreover, I have character complaints. Melisandre is a witch and all she can do is light the wood? Terrible witch skills. Arya is trying to hide inside in the dining room or whatever from the wights...so why not shapeshift? Also, why didn’t the three dragons ever procreate with each other and have more dragons? That whole family is into incest anyway. And Theon holding off mass wights with a bow and arrow for like 25 minutes of screen time was dumb as was a bunch of other fights in which the good guys were getting completely overwhelmed and would’ve died within seconds and yet came out unscathed. And yeah, Arya killing the Night King in that stealthy manner was also dumb.

**** was enjoyable as hell though.
How does Arya shapeshifting help against the dead? They don't care who she is.

You ever watch "Walking Dead"? She would walk amongst them and then spring out like a badass ninja. Would have made WAY more sense than just her jumping from...? and then landing on the Night King.

And also the entire battle was the NK toying with them. He can raise the dead at any moment. He has an unlimited supply of bodies to overcome any strategy. If he wanted Bran dead he could have had it happen, but he wanted his army to save the 3 Eyed Raven for him.

Ehh, I don't think so because it was never established you can "play dead" against them.

I’m going to be trying to get to sleep tonight and hearing the sound of the Mormont kiddie’s rubs crunching ..

RIP house Mormont

And I don't have a problem with how Arya killed the NK, just that she was the one to do it.

Like they tease this JS/NK 1 on 1 fight everyone wants then the NK bitches out. Was he actually scared to fight JS or just that indifferent about him?

I do a bit. It was classic bad movie writing where the good guy has the chance to kill the bad guy and hovers over him, talking to him, blah, blah, blah, taking his sweet *** time and then the bad guy kills him somehow.
