Why? You think Pops, Phil, or Jerry could turn this talent depleted team into a playoff team?

What's Quin supposed to do? Play Hayward, Burks, Kanter, and Gobert 48 mins? That'll win us some championships...

While most teams have 3-6 shooters, we have one (hayward). But he also has to play PG because burke sucks and Exum thinks he's Kyle Korver with a broken leg. Even Andre Miller has driven the ball into the paint more, and he's on Medicare.

Made me laugh. Great points. We need players who can put the ball in the basket. Burks is ok on 3's, but nothing to talk about. Need to replace both guards with shooters. Alec can come off the bench. And Gobert definitely the starting center going forward. Maybe doesn't happen until next year, but it will happen.

Holy ****! You have got to be on the staff of at least a college team with that piercing insight. There's that vision again! I'm not saying Gobert is Olajuwon, but holy hell, players and strategies are much more complex than your arm chair analysis would have it.
 
Not a coincidence we had one of our worst offensive nights without Favors.

The offensive is anemic without him. Not that Favors ia great passer, but Kanter and Gobert make him look like Sabonis.

So the Jazz offense doesn't suffer with Gobert on the floor?
 
coulda been a 4-point game if Booker made his FTs. Dayum.

Also, I swear Kanter was doing better at the 5 late in the game than Gobert.

Yeah, Kanter was.

Our offense in the 3rd quarter was just awful. Terrible spacing. Gobert really hurts us in that regard. If Burke was hitting a mid-range pull up or Burks/Hayward weren't creating 1-on-1 we had nothing going for us. Kanter having an off night really hurt us on offense. I'm sure things are a lot harder on him offensively playing with a more clogged lane that Gobert brings.

I know this an attempt to be witty, but playing along, why in the world would I want Burks to play 48 minutes? Try actually reading the posts before you respond to them.
