Felt like the Jazz sleptwalked through the majority of the game. Injuries or not, that type of overall effort is unacceptable.
Lyles was our best player tonight. Think about that for a second...

To be fair, DL was put in a tough situation. We really needed to upgrade this roster. Anyone who thought we could be a title contender via internal progression was nuts. However, to be fair to DL what and how you upgrade this roster was tough since there were-still are so many unknowns. For example, we needed/still need a PG and 3 pt shooter. This summer we could've gone out and signed a vet. But wouldn't that hinder Exum's progression? Then he went out and tore his ACL but by that time most of the vet PGs were signed. Should we have gone out and tried to sign a shooter? In hindsight yes, because Hood and Hayward have been bad from the 3 Pt line and Burks is now injured.
Hindsight is 20/20. We still don't know what this roster is and with all the injuries, probably will never know.
I think DL may need to make a move or two before the deadline if we want to still make the playoffs and actually b competitive.
If not, then for sure this summer we must revamp this roster seriously. I don't think Burks can be depended on anymore due to his injury history. Not only that but his style doesn't seem to match our strategy.
Hood needs to be upgraded.
Booker, Jingles (he's a fringe NBA player), and Burke need to be gone...
Neto needs to be relegated to his proper role of 3rd stringer.
And we need someone other than Hayward who can create a shot for others.
It's time to make some moves to make a real push next year. We are just wasting Favors' and Hayward's best years right now.
After a few years of tanking we are still no better than the 8th seed. Essentially where we started when Jslo left, Corbin was coach, and Millsap and Big Al were here. After all these years we haven't accomplished a damn thing.
Frustrating. Especially when you look back upon the second half of the past season. It really looked like we had something special brewing. Now we just look so underwhelming on defense and completely inept on offense.
I sure as hell wouldn't want to watch this dumpster fire blown out in 4 games in the first round. Do you?
I don't know, a four game series with the San Antonio Sours would be fun. We could all watch intently to see if the Jazz could score more than 70 points. Or place bets if the Jazz would have more fouls or turnovers each quarter.

How bout I dont since it isn't true.
I guess you can argue in the first half he was and in the 2nd half it was Burke.
Withey and of course Hayward could be argued as the best player last night, Lyles overall I say played the 4th best because for whatever reason he didn't play much in the 2nd half and didn't get a chance.
Arguing who played best last night is like arguing which one of my posts suck more, sure you might get an answer but do you really want to wade through all that crap to find out?
