What's new

Game Thread: Utah Jazz @ NO Hornets. 6pm MST.

Garbage....everyone except Millsap....
How can you not bring that same urgency as the Houston game? We are not nearly good enough to take teams lightly.

Favors needs to get his head in the game.

Somedays I hate the flex offense. Lots of movement and passing and no scoring. I'd love to see a Hayward & Favors PnR.

Interesting you choose Favors. Not that I disagree, but he did more than a few others.

Corbin's great. Like I've been saying the whole season, the Jazz FO promoted a janitor to CEO, and it shows. No adjustment at any point. Hornets scoring at will in the first half, of course there's no adjustment. Gordon driving at will, of course no adjustment. Just let him do it. Maybe he'll miss. Zone? Who's ever heard of that?

And you know, shocking as it may seem, if the starters aren't getting it done, it's okay to put in some other players. Thibs can bench the freaking MVP in the fourth and overtime, but Corbin hasn't got the balls to tell Al Jefferson to sit down. Great. Yet a COY with 40 years experience is sitting in the studio telling us about the game.

Picked on him because two plays down the stretch. Hayward jump ball, Favors gets the tap behind the defense under the basket and rather than dunking he turns left. Jazz turnover. He didn't know time, place.

Later, the ball is shot, (maybe passed inside and tipped) any way he chases the ball down and half tips half passes a loopy pass out front to no-one in particular. Ball goes into the backcourt as harris and Hayward chase it. Jazz Turnover.

Physically he is superior to most everyone on the court. Mentally he was D-League.

Favors? What in the world are you talking about. Sure he makes some mistakes as any 20 year old may, but he tries on every possession and makes a difference 90 percent of the time.

I hear ya .. but he should not have been in that position .. based on what he had done vs. the of others .. at least, imo.

Come on dude, what about the thirteen times he chased down a rebound? You are nit picking. He will make mistakes, but let's talk about Jefferson shooting 20 footers multiple times down the strecch. Shooting......actually more like chucking.

The Jazz don't really have an alpha dog right now. They're all good-natured team players, but someone has to step up and make the big plays.
