I think Corbin is as good as gone.

Well prepare to continue to be disappointed then. Greg Miller all but said he runs the organization as his dad would, but not as vocal and cantankerous. The Miller's will only fire Corbin if KOC/Lindsey tell them they think its best. Since that won't happen, I'm going to assume that they think it best to retain Coach Corbin. And if that Is what they think is best then I back them 100%.

Hence, why the fans need to force Corbin out. We can force greggy boy to make a decision. The only alternative is to shut up and be quiet as Ty Corbin continues to tear down and destroy this franchise.

Remember, it is better than one man should perish than an entire nation perish in unbelief.

Greg said he runs it a lot different than his dad. In fact he said he doesn't give much input because if things were his idea and they failed, then he couldn't hold his guys (Corbin, Lindsey and koc) accountable or fire them. He knows what is going on and is going to hold these guys accountable if the core four doesn't succeed.

Yeah that's why I said he wasn't as vocal or cantankerous. He will listen to KOC/Lindsey. If they say fire him, he will. I don't see that scenario taking place tho.

Why would people in charge of basketball decisions refuse to believe obvious facts? I don't know where the line is in terms of failure for them, but it exists.

Neither do I. Sadly, we are with him at least through next year and probably longer. Hopefully horny is the next head coach.

So we can go through the same mistake again? Hornacek might be better, but we have really nothing to go off of to suggest as such.

I disagree that it will be the same mistake. I think horny will be a great coach, but like you said, we have no assurance of that. They should interview a bunch of guys though, to make sure they get the right guy. I just have a feeling that horny is the right guy

Hell if I know. I don't know their internal plans. As far as we know, everything may be progressing according to plan.

I don't know why I have some belief in him either, but... I don't think it's smart to make decisions completely based on gut-feeling, which is essentially what you (and I) are saying.

Well let me just say this: The primary reason I am... umm... just fine with losing games (and losing them badly) is so that the evidence is so overwhelming that Corbin is the problem that the organization is forced to make a decision. Because we all know that it will take losing of significant magnitude for the organization to make a move like that. We could hope that the Jazz were going to be more PROactive and less REactive about some things, but I have less hope in that.

That said, I hope we see The Four look great and mostly on the bench with Al helping move along the above by playing 48 minutes a game.

Also, for the record, I really tried to give Corbin a chance and be patient. I gave him two years, but when his excuses dried up (poor/undeveloped talent, no shooters, no training camp, no coaching staff, turmoil, and/or shortened season) and the team was no better AT BEST, then seeing what looks to be the team coming apart at the seams? It paints a picture that isn't pretty at all.

I was going to say the same thing about giving Corbin a chance at the beginning. Maybe we need a guy with a little more experience next time. Even Jerry had coached before becoming head coach of the jazz. He was about as successful as Corbin has been with the jazz while he was with Chicago.
