Heh

Offensively 26th. Which isn't impressive really.

Edit: and 75th in wins above replacement. What a gem he is.

It would be one thing if Kanter was a physically inept defender, but he isn't really. He has good enough size to be a good defender. He is just slow as **** on rotations. Always a half-second late (on good days).

The pregame radio show said Kanter's ankle was not 100% and it would impact his lateral movement.

Cy, you just need to lower expectations for Kanter. I've found myself to be much more mellow (#mmm) after accepting the fact that he'll always suck at defense, and always be bad at passing.

Just chill, bro.

Had the Jazz been able to force the Warriors to play any halfcourt offense in the 2nd half, we probably would have seen them mercilessly pick apart Kanter. Instead, they got up in our grill, made us take ****ty shots, rebounded the basketball, and ran to the other end of the court for easy buckets.

I ought to neg you for that, but I just don't have the ambition or energy.

It's not that big of a deal. They're the best team in the league.

It's just one game

Exum needs to be sent down to the DLeague. He's turrible, just turrible. I'd rather watch Clark play PG. Heck, even play Novak. At least he can shoot. Exum passed up a few opportunities to drive. He passed up decent shots to pass into traffic. All he's good for is getting the ball, taking a couple dribbles before he throws it to someone else, and then he stands in the corner waiting for a 3...which he usually misses. The NBA is WAY above his head right now.

would be a good idea except:

1- would probably make him lose confidence in himself in thinking he's not an nba player, and also a lot of outside criticism of his game from media etc.
2- d-league plays nothing like NBA right now. i'm not sure it helps him prepare that much for NBA games. when you get teams having non-OT games that end 172-169 and stuff... it might not be the best culture to develop in for a young kid.

The more he shoots, the better it would be. Also, have the coach in Idaho kick his *** and make him start penetrating. I don't think he'd lose confidence, because he has none right now. He's a boy playing against grown men.

They shot 20/39 through 3 quarters when Gobert was on the court.

I didn't mention Gobert and he's kind of irrelevant to your original point, but if you want to turn this into Gobert's defense vs Kanter's, you've already lost.
