Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Just enjoy his play for this game.
He is also just really small. The guy is 6'1. He has an incredible wingspan, but that is more of a defensive tool. Even if he was a 1 foot jumper, it would be difficult for him to play above the rim consistently. Tonight he got into the paint a couple of times and made some great passes. As long as he is consistently breaking the paint, I'm impressed. His jumper will fall eventually, it's too pretty not to.
Then why have you been complaining about people giving their 2 cents on your 2 cents?

Mitchell is showing he's easily quick enough to get into the paint, once he figures out how to capitalize on it he's going to settle down and kick on. I think his shooting sucks atm because he's a bit too hyped up. Long term having him and Exum able to penetrate and hopefully get to the line a lot will help make up for Rodney not really doing that
Yeah but other guys that are small, like Parker or Stockton or Isaiah, don't seem so small in the same circumstances. They are more fluid in stride so it takes away some of the disadvantage of being shorter in the same circumstances.
Westbrook was held to six points on 2-for-11 shooting. He was held to single digits just twice in the two previous regular seasons.
Most super stars under 7' aren't boxed in to being just 2 footed jumpers just like those who are solely 1 footed jumpers.
