Of course this popped out of the Bundy boys camped in f'nSiberia, OR. I know the reason they didn't do this in the summer was the heat, at 110 probably, or the mosquitos. Spring. . . no way anybody will move in that mud. Fall, too busy. All the deer hunters and such. No hunting on a bird refuge, though, but I bet they woulda got about 500 volunteers to come, with shotguns no less, in late October.

I got myself a deep freeze where the snow that falls just doesn't melt because of the inversion, stays below freezing, but hey the sun is working it's way back degree by degree. February if it snows it'll melt, too.
