He's still bringing the ball down though. Needs to keep it high so you don't get stripped.

Not really as important in the position he is in. Catching ball down low he is working on some catch and quick move. That is far more important on rebounding or catching the ball up high. But he does need to work on that, however I would be much more happy if he caught the ball consistently. He fumbles so many passes and it causes turnovers or slows down the play.
