The scent of optimism is too strong atm. He'll be back if there's a full moon and the Jazz lose tonight to feast on the remnants of the innocent.
That does it, we shouldn't sign him. He does have a quiet voice that is defied by his aggressiveness on the court.

Don't know the exact date, I can tell you for sure If Hill wishes to gouge for top dollar signing an Extension now isn't the best way to do that.

If I'm correct, the incentive for Hill to sign an extension would be to make another $10 million or so on this year of his contract, because the Jazz have cap space. What other teams are going to be in the market for a PG like Hill? Most teams seem to have their PG situation settled.

I mean.. The 76ers would be wise to put in a crazy overbid for Hill right? There's suitors out there..
That is the incentive, I just think as the days pass it seems more unlikely -- Maybe they're waiting for the trade deadline to pass, if the FO was looking for positive signals to 'hit the gas' i'd imagine the team has performed up to those standards - I'm kinda hoping for more quality reinforcements off the bench...
Oh I'm pretty sure the extension deadline is like 10 days after the trade deadline

Got it. It makes complete sense for the Jazz to wait until after the trade deadline to get a deal done then.
I have a hard time believing the Jazz would trade a lottery pick for a one year rental of George Hill, especially after the he's had. An extension will happen.
