George Hill's body Language During the Joe Jesus Saves stretch of Game 4

If your expectations for George Hill are to outplay, or even play even to Chris Paul then you probably need to dial it back at bit.

I watched the end of the game on my dvr and another thing I noticed was Quin Snyder's body language looked like he wanted to murder a prostitute. Maybe I'm just over analyzing this...but it seemed strange. Shouldn't he have been happy instead of wanting to kill someone?

He was happy. His murdering prostitute look is his happy look.

Must be good times in Jazzland when the downers have to reach THIS far to come up with something negative,

I tried to preface my post in a way that negated this response, but I suppose it wasn't realistic on my part to expect I could with 100% efficacy. I'm not trying to reach for something at all. It was just something I noticed but I might just be really bad at reading the body language.

JFC is going Russell Westbrook on you.

I guess we forget the 13 points in 4 minutes by Paul in game 3 to steal a victory? Yes, I get that Paul is one of the greatest, but you still have to take it to him and make him work. The pnr defense wasn't the best with Favors being gassed but Hill is definitely not an infallible defender.
I like Hill as much as the next guy, but he isn't without his flaws. I hope he does get a max salary if that is what he desires, just not here.

I think Ingles was guarding him some at that time too. I can't wait until we get to the Warriors series and Hill is bull dawging steph.

Didn't see it.

But how much has he contributed to these playoff wins? Do we really need him next year at the kind of money he's after?

How much has he contributed to the wins? A lot. Have you see how our other PG's run the offense?

Whether he's worth the money he's seeking is another question. But he has been a very crucial player this series.

Everything has value, but that value has to equate cost for it to be worth it. If the cost is too high and overpriced, then it's not worth getting it.

That's all I was saying.

Nobody here is saying Hill is worthless.

No, you didn't say he was worthless.

You did essentially say that he's not much of a factor in us winning games this series. That is a really stupid take.
