Karl: I've got one for you. How about the Utah Jazz? Talk about squandering talent. You've got Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap -- both left as free agents -- and you basically let them walk for nothing and instead go with Enes Kanter and Derrick Favors. That is really squandering two All-Star NBA players. Now you're playing two guys I still haven't seen play consistent basketball on any level...

Good thing I don't give a **** what George Karl thinks.

Not super impressed by Karl's playoff record.

He has a point with the whole Millsap/Kanter thing doe.

But the Jazz may have lucked out by getting Booker. He could become as good or even better than Millsap, who is almost three years older than Booker. Probably will come close but not quite up to Millsap.

I think Millsap and Jefferson were squandering their own talent... I wouldn't blame that on the Jazz. I loved Millsap, but his last 2 or 3 years in Utah his effort, energy, and work ethic were really lacking.

Millsap/Jefferson is going to cost you about 25 million next year combined.

Hayward, Favors, Burks are going to cost you 37 million combined

The x-factor is The Jazz got Exum, which they would not have gotten if they retained Jefferson/Millsap and Dante has a higher upside then all of them.

Arguable either way; but to say The Jazz got nothing is bit of a stretch.
