I have read nothing to confirm that Zimemrman pulled a gun in this scenario. Also from what I read Zimmerman never fired his weapon. So this guy didn't "fire back". He is the only one that fired a weapon at all.

And it's why I think there need to be legal rules of engagement when carrying a concealed firearm. I think pursuing a suspicious person while armed should be against the law, but it isn't and it doesn't give the pursued person the right to physically assault the pursuer nor does it limit the right of the pursuer to defend them self against such an attack.

But again, I think laws regarding concealed carry need to be refined and rules of engagement established.

None of us have defended Zimmerman. We have defended the rule of law and shown that the law is right to protect people from cop-killer citizens like you who want meet out justice based on the color of people's skin (white - kill'em; black - set them free) and your own very heavy biases. Nah just in a feisty mood. Been fighting with local authorities about everything from our fire protection concept to permitting for free standing structures inside the 300k sq ft distribution center. It has been a rough week. Supposed to be working from home today so of course the intranet/VPN goes down and it is taking now almost 90 minutes to download a file I need.
