What bullcrap? I'm pointing out hypocrisy do you know that I'm an active mormon. I just can't justify what I've learned about Jesus or values away. YOu can't just wear a flag pin on your lapel and pretend like you still have values especially when you are cheating on your first two wives who are stricken with illnesses.

Completely irrelevant to anything being talked about in this thread.

Yes Newt is a hypocrite for the whole family values pitch. But you threw everyone not wanting a democrat in office as morally bankrupt so again stop with the bullcrap. There are plenty of upstanding moral people on both sides of the political spectrum. I am open for debate but if your just going to spew partisan crap than I have no use for you.
 
What I thought was hilarious is that a couple of weeks ago Gingrich said something like, "If I'm elected, I promise I will be faithful to my [current] wife." (Sorry, I don't have time now to track down the reference.)

Umm... Mr. Gingrich, didn't you ALREADY make that promise? You know, when you married her?!

Fine, but I do think that all of this comes together in a giant ball of crazy. When I go to church and they talk about all of the poor folk and how it is hard for them to not look down on them. I think it has total relevance to the message that is being conveyed on what the GOP's goals are. Hey I understand that not everyone votes for the GOP based on religion. But, it seems like every single time they talk they are putting their feet in their mouths with hypocrisy and elitisms. How can a struggling to find a job public see this as the way out? I apologies for throwing everyone under the bus. But, then tell me why?
 
I do not think there is a easy way out. I am not particularly thrilled with the republican nominees and I am not thrilled with Obama. Obama has faile don many levels just as Bush failed on many levels before him. I am actually disatisfied with the very vast majority of everyone in politics. There are two many issues and stances to be had for only two parties to represent it all.

Secure the border completely but I have no problem with an illegal immigrant family that has lived her for years and is a good member of society , apart from the illegal immigration, staying here and becoming legal.

Protect marriage not by outlawing gay marriage, they have every right to be as miserable as anyone else, but by requiring marriage classes or something.

I am pro second amendmant but I think that a shooting/training class should be required to get a concealed carry permit and that the permit should be administered by the federal government and good for all states. I do not think the average citizen needs anythig more that basic firearms (pistols, shotguns, rifles...).

Strong, very high tech, military but pull them back some. Why do we need so many bases or carrier groups everywhere?

I am ok with unemplyment being extended as long as it is coupled with job training clases and the individuals proove they are trying to find a job (thru interviews, resume postings, skill training...)

Simply way to many fine points for us to be Democrats or Republicans. For me being American is enough.
 
What do you expect or feel that Obama has not accomplished?

I'm not pro second amendment because I have seen all of these shooting that have taken place and even with a concealed weapons permit that doesn't stop someone from snapping. I would allow civilians to have weapons as long as they are not automatic or semiautomatic. That way if you want to go crazy you have to load your gun in-between firing giving time for unarmed citizens to subdue the maniac.

I'm opposed to homosexuality since it is a sin. Yet, I'm also opposed to alcohol, tobacco, etc. so I don't believe I can push my moral view as a law of the land. I think the best way to help anyone that choses something that I deem to be a sin is to treat them with love and respect like JC. NOt to run around slandering, attacking, and hating them for not choosing to follow JC.

I went on a Spanish speaking mission and I believe that the only way to stop illegal immigration is to take the money we are investing in trying to stop them from crossing the boarder. And use it to try and eliminate the corruption that drives people to leave all they know to come to the US to get treated like dirt.

Also, I'm not anti rich nor do I want them to give it to the poor. But, they made their money because of those around them not in spite of them and they do deserve to pay a larger percentage of their income to help keep this country great. And I know what you are thinking they earned that money. Yep, sure than pay it forward.

His foreign policy is a disaster. He has failed on the immigration promise he made as part of his initial election platform. His healthcare mandate is a failure(perhaps this is better to classify as a success of his that I think is horrible). His failure to push forward energy independence (see denying the keystone pipeline as one example)

No don't go defending him by bashing Repbulicans or saying they failed to because they did/have fail(ed). But so has Obama.
 
Ok lets look at each part where is the foreign policy a disaster I feel that he helped to inspire the Arab spring and that might bring fear because of the unknown but when people that have been under oppression religious or not that should give hope to those all of us that our voice can matter.

You will have to tell me what you don't like about the Health Care plan because I like it. Watching my premiums rise every year and having to fight the insurance company every time someone in my family has to go to the doctor give me hope that this is a start to fixing our problem. Obama threw it out to everyone to bring a better idea and all of the ideas were more of the same bet the lobbyist were all over there favorite representatives.

Energy Independence this is an up hill battle how long have the big oil companies had our representatives in their deep pockets.
