If you are killing it in the league then, maybe people think it's cool, but when you are playing as bad as Cody was, you're just drawing attention to your horrible play.
Well, Cody hit a 3. Couldn't follow with the heatcheck.
The Gleague doesn't have bonafide NBA paint defenders. Oscar Tshibwe is dominating. Cody's not going to get half of these rim finishes in the NBA, but I guess maybe it helps for him to build confidence.

It's a bit concerning that Cody was not in when the Stars made their little run. He might pay attention to David Jones game. He was dreadful most of the night but got it together late. I believe Cody might have had the worse +- on the Stars.
David Jones was bad. His turnovers killed he Stars' run. Cody's was the 2nd worse +/-, but I think that has more to do with the Warriors losing their point guard to injury.

The Jazz could have done that earlier but chose to sign the Monkee to the two way. That told me that Ainge and company did not regard him as a prospect.
I don't have ESPN+, but it looks like Cody is making some shots today. He has 12pts at half-time with 2/2 on 3PAs.
Edit: Now has 17 pts with 3/3 on 3PAs and a couple mid-range jumpers early in the 3rd quarter.
Edit: Another bucket and FT, up to 21 pts. The Blind Squirrel is finding his nut.

Cody hasn't played since the 6' mark in the 3rd quarter. He's being held out for some reason.

I think Cody was on a pitch count. The Stars ended up losing by 6 points despite being up 2 with the ball and about a minute to play. Cody was not part of that craptastic finish. Davy Jones sure was though.

The Stars have a game tomorrow night in So Cal.
The Jazz are recalling Filipowski from the Gleague. He was only there for a practice and a game to get some game reps. Meanwhile, Cody remains assigned to the Stars.

I notice Kevin Knox II and Darius Bazely are having identical seasons in the GLeague both scoring about 19 a game with 9 boards. Why did the Jazz move on from both? Are they both cancers? Both were 1st round draft picks and appeared to put up decent numbers at one point in the Association. I thought Bazely played hard last season and in the Summer League.
I think Bazley showed some things defensively, but he wasn't much of a shooter, scorer or passer. Knox was here for about 5 minutes.
