What's new

GM #9: 11/12/2014 - Utah Jazz(3-5) @ Atlanta Hawks(3-3) [5.30 PM MDT, 7.30 PM ET and 1.30 AM CET]

I've been ticked over the last two losses. But when it comes to something you have passion for, being ticked is far better than being indifferent.

Just not "highly encouraged" by anything I've seen on this road trip other than Hayward's 4th quarter takeover in Detroit.
Kanter has looked good recently.
Burks had a semi breakout game
Gobert swatting shots
Burke with 11 assists and a double double
Ingles finally made a couple shots

I think all those are encouraging but I'm a glass half full kind of dude by nature

Let's call it a triple double with 10 missed shots (5-15).

Didn't you get the memo? The Jazz suck at everything and their is no excuse.

You're starting to sound like AKMVP

Nah, he sounds like ME!

But I'm used to being unpopular. I was one of the very first "trade-AK" proponents and got eviscerated for it. Can't say I was the first to speak out on Burke. There were quite a few who disliked the pick. But I saw early last season he was not going to be our PGOTF.

On the choke meter last night's game was a 12 (1 out of 10). I still laugh at the fans who thought Millsap didn't play hard with the Jazz. Dude is a Jazzman for life as far as I am concerned and I wished he had stayed with the Jazz. The irony was that both former Jazzman killed the Jazz last night.

Just a horrible stretch the last 3 minutes. Oh well, move on because there is another game.

There is a difference between being unpopular and always negative. Sometimes being unpopular isn't a good thing.

Really sucks if you see our record. Could easily been 5-4 right now. Really need the next game before we play the Raptors.

Do you really want to be one of THOSE guys? You know, the ones whose contribution to the forums mostly consists of them expressing their hatred/love for one player. You really don't. Those guys are pretty stupid.

I think I'm both on here - at least with a handful of members.

Agree. Irrational love/hatred for one player (or coach) can be annoying. OK, so let me try to change my ways by stating we have 2 desperate needs: 1) Starting PG; 2) Starting PF. There MIGHT be hope for Kanter. He can at least score, although he'll likely never have reliable 3-pt range. As for Burke, well, I'm not too hopeful.

I think what they're getting at is that recently it seems like every single one of your posts is about Burke not playing well, and how you predicted that. It gets old after a while, you're beating a dead horse.

The best thing about some of those games we are losing is that at least we are competitive. This is big part of the game and is serious improvement over last year, especially on the road. Last year we were losing this one by 20. Next step is to start winning some of those close games on the road or stretching up several wins in a row. I am enjoying this season much more than last one.
