Beasley can play the 4, can he not? Utah would be foolish not to get this guy. Even as a so-called "cancer" the kid put up really good numbers last year and they would only improve in Utah. Plus, if all Utah had to do was give up a trade exception, he's an extremely good gamble. He's still on his rookie contract and won't cost a lot of $$$$$$.
In looking at the players Utah could "possibly" get, he obviously has by far the most upside and is the youngest and if he doesn't work out, Utah can cut their losses without finding themselves in cap hell. Sure, he's had his problems, but Utah can get him for next to nothing. Where's the risk?
Somebody posted earlier that they can't see a good reason to bring in Beasley. I can't see a good reason for Utah not to.
