I don't think burks will be in the deal. I think it's gonna be Burke and filler. Maybe booker. Maybe some second round picks. They need to get rid of Teague and we will benefit.
I always find it funny when people say things like this. How do you figure?
I think it will be Burke withey Booker and either the OKC or gsw 1st rounder with splitter and Teague coming back. Tibor has to be in the deal for salary but he could go to porty or Philly with a second rounder. Both teams can take on salary. They get replacements for what they send out which aren't as good as what they lost but clear 14.5 in salary for next year and pick up a pick. I don't think they are desperate to move him but I think both Teague and the Hawks are ready to move on.
Utah is under the cap. Salary isn't a consideration. I can't see the jazz giving up a first round pick.
Because the Knicks are willing to spend the money. Because they aren't scared of being bad enough to pick in the lottery. Because they aren't scared to make a big trade. They aren't scared to take a boom or bust player in the draft.
In my opinion, I think it's pretty hard to get anywhere in the NBA being real conservative. It's a recipe for being average. I'd rather just be bad for a long time and give my team a better chance to snag the next transcendent great player.
Unfortunately, that's what it's gonna take for a team like Utah to win it all. We just won't be attracting any big name free agents any time soon.
The Knicks are the gold standard when it comes to building a team guys!

I find it hilarious how mad people around here get if you question the decisions of the team.
In these 24 pages has anyone answered this question that I posted on the 1st??
who was the last player "out indefinitely" that was traded in the NBA ??
In what world does the 4th team in the east trade a starting PG for a SG that's out indefinitely??? seems like fantasy to me.
