Go GET Teague

Jazz are doing much better without Teague

How do you know this since the jazz have never had teague? Maybe with teague they would be the 5th seed right now

You are acting like aquiring teague somehow = losing exum.
We can have, and play both.

You replace burke with teague not exum.

Do people actually think burke = teague

Poorly phrased. Mean they are doing just fine at the moment without Teague.

I see. Ya they are doing fine.

I guess I just would like them to do even better.

I'm happy with the current team but that does not mean I want them to never improve

Don't think they need him to comfortably make the playoffs

I agree 100%
But I think with teague they do better/go farther in the playoffs, this year and next year.

I want to do as good as we can when we get to the playoffs. Teague helps us do better in the playoffs that trey burke imo

If this conversation were about Mike Conley (who I think is the better player), then I could see the concern. Besides playing time and assets to acquire him, there would also be a significant financial commitment to keep him.

I don't see that issue with Teague. He's a solid guy to fit into the starting job for now, hopefully for a low acquisition cost and his contract isn't egregious. The Jazz don't have to extend him. In fact, I could easily see them flipping him (and possibly Burks) to get an All Star player next year. Both guys are relatively young, but have very good experience.

I think your paranoia is unfounded. It's better to have talent when you can get it. This looks to potentially be one of those opportunities.

No. I'm acting like trading for Teague will cause Exum to not meet full potential. and lose assets in the process. I just view the trade as unnecessary and damaging in the long run.

They've won five in a row and that is primarily due to amazing defense and winning the close game, and I'm guessing that's a factor as to why they have a current 5 game winning streak. I think they are good enough to get the 5-6 spot in the west.

Exactly. No realistic downside

I don't want Teague getting us to the playoffs next year. I want Exum playing 25-30 min at the pg position.

I want favors Hayward hood Gobert, and the rest of the team acclimation to Exum. Not a guy that isn't a part of the Jazz championship future.
