What's new

Gobert, Garrett and Clark

Not sure why Kanter has fallen off so hard on effort. He is better than he is playing. He needs to get that fire he had last year back.

I had my fears about it before this season. Hard to keep that fire when you are outmatched and losing by double digits most of the games. Some players will start mailing it in and not playing 100%. Disappointed if that's the case with Kanter, I thought Favors and Burks would be first ones to crack.

Sorry, we found a real gem in Mike Harris. Gotta give him minutes to develop. Undersized, unathletic mismatched vets who cannot shoot are our specialty. LOL Gobert should have all his minutes.

Ty is playing the vets too much, and Rush is not even back yet. The 4 Youngin's should be averaging at least 36 mpg no matter how they are playing.

Ever since that 20 point first quarter in Portland and the subsequent benching in favor of Evans the next game, he hasn't been right.

Out skilled, out muscled, out jumped, and he couldn't even stand in the right place. I feel bad for him.

Do you think part of why kanter looks so bad is conditioning? He can't be in that great of shape coming off a shoulder injury. I hope he improves when his conditioning improves.

I had a similar injury a couple of years ago that Kanter had and I can attest it takes a lot therapy and time to get back to where I was before the injury. I hope that is his problem.

This.

He definitely doesn't look like he's in the same shape as last year.

Kanter's play can't be completely explained by conditioning. That's definitely part of it, but he's ****ed over mentally right now.

No doubt about it, but I think conditioning has a ton to do with that as well. If he was a veteran player, he could probably still be effective through the conditioning issues, but not having played a ton, he mainly relies on physicality to get **** done. If he had more experience, and more craftiness, he probably would not be a mopey and mental about things. He does look completely lost out there, it looks like he does not know where to start to get back to dominating like he did last season.

Why?

I've already asked this, but is the dude ****ING? Seriously. It seemed like he plowed ACRES last offseason and played with a bounce in his step and fire in him, and this year, he looks like a crater-faced Dragonball Z virgin.

Rehabbing from an injury is more than just physical
