Gobert update thread

The Clippers are in a must-win situation. Playing without Gobert puts even that much more pressure on them, more worried about dropping the second at home to a Gobert-less Jazz. Meanwhile the pressure is off us -- we needed a split and we already got it. Between Hayward, Hill and Hood, someone should have a good offensive game. We'll need to crash the boards and rely on Withey.

Release The Bolom...... eh, who am I kidding? It ain't happening.

It's interesting the diverging range of opinions about when Gobert will be back. If anything, I'm encouraged he's already out there, moving around, shooting, etc. CJ, at the most ridiculous extreme -- I thought you were a ballplayer way back when. I know myself that if I had a serious injury I wouldn't be out there two days later moving around on the court. Probably, Rudy won't be very effective in his first game back (3rd or 4th game), but his presence will be a huge emotional edge for the Jazz. And I have a feeling Favors is going to surprise us (or at least, I hope). A win in this series could catalpult the Jazz to the finals -- the old guys are already showing why we signed them, and will be a big factor.

I'm excited that Rudy is at practice. But considering our training staffs track record, shouldn't they rest him as much as possible?
