What's new

goodbye GS pick,

Wow, GS is amazing. They beat the Clippers in crunch time.
I thought this season the best team during crunch time would be the Clips because of CP3.

They beat the LA hype show tonight

I really think there is a chance that when we play them on March 17th that the two teams could have close to the same record. GS goes on a long road trip after the All-Star break against some good teams but they always have a shooters chance to win.

look at the positive side, not having a first round pick will make it easier to find minutes for Ante Tomic, who KOC went out to see the other day (according to i believe Randy Rigby)

I have just about given up on him, but if he shows well and we give him a decent contract, it could happen.....

Who honestly did not see this coming after Kwame Brown and Mark Jackass?

Kwame....possibly the worst #1 draft pick in NBA history....coupled with Mark Jackson....possibly the worst head coach in NBA history....equals lot's of losses and lot's of high draft choices.

I don't see how "building for the future" will affect their record all that much. Curry and Ellis are still going to get their minutes, as will Lee. Giving minutes to Udoh and Thompson instead of Biedrins and Wright may actually IMPROVE the Warriors.

What does concern me is that GS is in the same situation as Utah, i.e. they've played a lot more home than road games. With Lopez back, NJ should start to win more games, so they're no longer a lock to finish with a worse record. Detroit is also playing well of late. I think there's a good chance GS finishes at 6 or 7; if that's the case, we just have to hope for teams to move ahead of them during the lottery.

Can I give myself rep for calling this? Udoh was indeed a star with 19/8. And what has happened to Dorell Wright? He posted another goose egg, his fourth of the year. I used to think he was a rising star.
