Hayward's defense was poor. And I'm still trying to figure out how he only got credited with 1 TO. He must have lost the ball 5 times. For that matter, his assists were largely of the "the guy I passed to happened to score variety."But you see great flashes with the kid. I've been impressed several times this season when he gets way under the basket and finds an outlet pass. He shows good instincts on the very few pick and rolls he's been given. He's been solid on the break even if the results aren't always there. As one example, he picked up a charge the other night (the learning curve) but made a real nice bounce pass in the process. He's got real skill.
