By the way, you do know that Sloan was mocking AK with that quote you have in your sig line right?
He was admitting that he failed as a coach. Sloan can't mock anybody he is not smart enough for that.

Like the last few years were for you in regards to AK?
lol, it was eye opener about Sloan!
10 or so games in March/April when team is out of playoffs does not prove the point either.
Wow you are the biggest joke of a person on this board, so your trying to say Sloan is the cause for his 7 year slump. WRONG! AK had a bad attitude, wasn't dedicated, didn't work hard, and cried his way through his troubles. Don't talk to me about how Sloan used him wrong on offense because, that's not the only part of his game that droped off.He was admitting that he failed as a coach. It's a geat injustice that you somehow have a rep power of two. You bring nothing insightful to jazzfanz other then you being an AK apologist.
Sloan bent over backwards for AK. AK never took responsibility for his bad play, his biggest excuse for his lack of hustle and bad defense was he didn't get the ball enough, so what does Sloan do he makes a concerted effort to involve AK more in the offense, AKMVP, I'm calling you out right now how did Sloans generosity toward AK work out?
Actually the Jazz ruined AK. The year before Boozer and Williams, AK was great but they would freeze him out of the offense. Yet, he was the only on playing defense dwill and boozer played matador defense. If you were AK you would get mad and it is justifiable to give that much effort and watch those two get the all of the glory.
Ohhhhhhhhhh it's the other biggest joke! Of course you are coming to AKMVP's aid. Booz, Williams, Memo were all stronger offensive options, they fit the offense better. AK isn't a shooter like Memo or Williams were he wasn't even as good a shooter as Boozer, he wasn't a slasher like Boozer was or Williams or Brewer for that matter, every time he tried the ball would get knocked out of his hands. The best part of his game was the energy he brought putbacks, and in transition. AK was the 4th option on offense for a reason. AK was a me first player with a weak mind. Who cried when things didn't go the way he wanted. AK didn't care what was best for the team, all he cared about was him self, so why would any coach under those circumstances call more plays to him on offense. His drop off in defense because he realized he wasn't more involved in the offense is no excuse for his drop off in every other facet of the game of basketball, don't blame Sloan for AK's bad play, blame the one who deserves the blame AK.Actually the Jazz ruined AK. He would have been far happier on a team that never made the playoffs as long as he was "the man" than ever would be on a championship team where there may be other players just as important as him.
This is why AK was a failure. That was all he cared about. He suddenly had 2 other all-stars to work with and instead of stepping up his game to help the TEAM win, he rolled over and cried in his pillow. He would have been far happier on a team that never made the playoffs as long as he was "the man" than ever would be on a championship team where there may be other players just as important as him.
