Karma is basically the rule of cause and effect that governs the universe.

It’s as real as you and me.

A quick look at the state of the world should dispel that notion. There is no such thing as Karma. Things don't happen for a reason. Gordon didn't break his leg because he "screwed the Jazz", whatever the hell that means.

I still just hate to think how much different we would have been with a big 3 of Mitchell, Gobert, and Hayward. Damnit, such a huge lost opportunity. Oh well, Robi...uh his mo....errr, GORDON got what he wanted, a 9-figure retirement. In the end that is way more important than a ring realistically.

That isn't karma though, that is just normal human decency. It isn't even cause and effect because you cannot guarantee the effect. You can be nice as hell and still have the guy pull a gun on you. What would that be karma for?

You do know that karma is meant to be the cosmic response of the universe to good actions in life providing one with a better re-birth, as in reincarnation, right? It isn't even really meant to mean anything in the current life, mostly aimed at the hereafter.

That’s a misconception, it’s very much supposed to apply to this current life.

In case anyone is curious, from the most recently available stats, that is about 13 kids or teens per day for gun-shots. And about 4 or 5 die of cancer every day, from the averages. Karma is a bitch.
