Pretty good... I will give Juan a C because he gets graded on the curve. Quin gets a C as well, but I could buy a C+ because this team absolutely should have shot better than they did... even with their mental issues this is outside of the realm of what I thought was possible... not to give Quin and excuse. I also think some of the effort stuff is stuff other coaches find a way to motivate guys and I am not sure Quin believes in the Rah Rah ****.

I may give Rudy a B-... really thought he could get more dominant on the offensive glass but didn't happen... a Bee is a super appropriate grade.

Rudy: B Not a great series by his standard, but easily our best player
Clarkson: B- Not an insult here, good series from our 6th man, but even a great bench series is like a B+
Bojan: C+ Coulda been a bit higher, but an absolutely horrific game 5 soured me a bit
Donovan: C The defense all series was bad, game 5 was terrible, and the other games were just okay offensively
House: C- Largely did his job in this one, wish he'd hit a few more shots, but far from the main problem there
Royce: C- Pretty similar series to House imo, very slightly behind due to higher expectations
Whiteside: C- Fine bench big series, tough to fill Rudy's shoes, and impossible with out perimeter defense
Juancho: D+ Another fine enough bench series, can't expect a ton from a 9th man
Conley: F Truly a terrible series, not helpful defensively and couldn't bring anything consistent to the offense, maybe he deserves a D- or something, but if that's not a fail from our supposed #3 guy I don't know what is.

Mitchell's TS% was 50% (39% FGs, 21% 3pt). and we're talking about a guy who plays 0 defense. off the charts poor offensive efficiency and zero defense should be an F but because he carries such a big load offensively, i'll bump him to a D-.

Between Mitchell and Conley (42% TS - wtf?) you are literally having to overcome them in order to win games as if they are working on behalf of the opponent.

I'd give Clarkson a A-, but that's grading on a curve defensively.

for the rest, i think the OP was about spot on.

I mostly agree. I think Juancho and Hassan is a C+, Royce also C- (he was solid in game 6, for one thing). Maybe an A- on Jordan, who I thought was the only player who really delivered throughout.

Michael Alex Conley Jr. Comportment: D. When he throws thy ball at the goal it veers away. He has movement in his feet when he is supposed to not be traveling. The so-called “floater” was not observable for many games. Empirically inadequate.

Donavan Mitchell Jr. Comportment: C. I’ve seen him participate more robustly. Alas, he was not appearing engaged when the enemy advanced the ball.

Jordan Taylor Clarkson. Comportment: B+. Good penetration and scoring, effort, defense, and heart! Lo, he has been consuming his sheepshead stew.

Rudy Gobert-Bourgarel. Comportment: C. This announcer named Shaq was saying that you have to punish thy opponent when they play little-ball and Rudy wasn’t able to do it. He should be throwing the ball into the goal when little people like Mr. Doncic are attending to him.

Royce O’Neale. Comportment: D. Mostly invisible on offense. Almost metaphysical due to his unobservable offensive propensities.

Danuel House. Comportment: C. Heart and defense.

Bogey. Comportment: B-. This man from the Fringes of the old Roman Empire played astonishing defense at times, at least comparatively to his customary habits.

Hassan Nian Whiteside. Comportment: C+. In measured moments on court, he appeared respectable.

Eric Paschall. Comportment: C-. Yet he too is invisible and makes his home sitting on the bench.

Mr. Snyder. Comportment: D. These analysts named Sir Charles, Shaq, and an ex-Houston Rockets guard pointed out that he did nothing to adjust to millions upon billions of open corner threes by the Mavericks.
