ok, so I have sort of a solution for some of this nonsense: different user names for the Jazz forum
so then if someone establishes themselves as an idiot in the Jazz forum, that identity wouldn't automatically carry-over to the General Discussion forum - they'd have to reestablish their idiocy from scratch all over again
I've also determined that Dutchjazzer is the Donald Trump of Jazzfanz.
