GSW Draft Pick Watch

Also, tonight was great. With NJ and Toronto losing, we're now set up for an epic tank battle to tie with GSW where the worst case is GSW finishing 7th. Detroit losing adds the potential that GSW still catch them with a win. GSW have two winnable games coming up. I'm pretty happy for the moment. I'm knocking on wood pretty hard right now.

Worst case scenario is actually Cleveland and the Kings winning out while GS loses both of their remaining games. That would make us very unhappy as Cleveland, GS, Sacramento, and the winner of the NJ/Toronto game would all be tied.

****.

Yeah, but they still have to win out to have a chance of getting HCA in the NBA finals, if they care about that.

In the past, they've been in the same situation, and rested their guys anyway. I think they'll stick with that, especially knowing who they're playing against, and that they have a good chance of winning, even without their real players.

...they have fake players? Where do we get some?

Wow... GSW has hit rock bottom... They've taken tanking to a whole new level by demoting their GM to Director of Scouting

Marc J. Spears ‏ @SpearsNBAYahoo
Warriors promote Bob Myers to GM and demote Larry Riley to Director of Scouting.

Also, Cleveland could be treacherous. Irving's back, they're playing the Wizards next, and then the Bulls to close the season (who are probably going to rest their best more than usual).

Well, one down (Sacramento) and one to go (Cleveland). NJ or Toronto moves to 23 wins tomorrow. But none of that matters if NO can out-tank GS. Should be an ugly 4th quarter in Oakland.
