love the game. Jazz played hard and answered every push by the grizz. If the refs had been neutral the Jazz win that game by 15 in my opinion. Just some horrendously bad calls. The Jazz just kept fighting. It was really an impressive win.

Didn't watch the game, but followed the box score. . .

A couple of things stood out to me tonight.

Burks and Hayward both seemed to play well and combined for 44 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists.

Jazz passed the ball well. Four players (Hayward, Burks, Burke and Hood) with 4 assists apiece - Gasol and Conley were the only two Grizzlies that posted 4 or more.

Gobert (16), Favors (7) and Kanter (9) combined for 32 rebounds. The Grizzlies whole team had 34. Gotta think that's a big factor in the upset. Jazz finished +15 in rebounds.

The top 8 players for the Jazz each played more than 20 minutes and each contributed to the win. When all is said and done, these are the players that will lead the team into the future. The more they play like this, the brighter that future looks.

Last 5 games, Hayward is averaging 20 pts on 52% shooting and 53% on 3-pt shots.

That's a really good line. If he can fix his FT issues and keep up this level of play (or possibly improve upon it) then he's a #1 option. Would love to see them add a pure high-level scorer to pair with him and let Alec wreck havoc from the bench.

I know Gasol got 24/12, but he did so on 22 shots. All the bigs played VERY well. That Kanter block at the end of the 3rd period was bawse!
I have to laugh because I KNEW someone would read the boxscore, see Gobert only scored 2 pts and call him next to worthless. He changed so many shots. And 4 players with 4 assists; that's sharing the ball!

Even though I'm wanting a pick in the 5-8 range, I was hoping the Jazz would hang on for the win. This does wonders for their confidence.
