What's new

GT: Jazz v Pacers, Sat. 12/5/15 @7:00pm

No, because you cited the foul count and FTA count as the reason why it was bad both ways.

By using "against" I took it as intentionally against the Jazz, to cost them the game. I disagreed with that. I used FTs and total fouls to show I didn't think that as if it was then Indy would have more FTs than Utah and more fouls.

But it seems you were saying that the calls against Utah were horrible. I can agree with that. So I probably misunderstood your original post and that's my fault.

Either way whatever.

Jazz won and I am happy about it.

More thoughts:

I really hope we cut Millsap and try out some other 10 day contract talent. This dude just isn't NBA material. I thought he did a good job on defense last year, but so far he has been a foul machine this year and is still a tragedy on the offensive end.

I agree 100%.

Chris Johnson is clearly better than him.

He's become a pretty good passer at times. People have questioned his ability to not be a "me first" type of guy in the past. I think he's learning that when he gets into the lane, he doesn't have to force it if it's not there. Not saying he forces it a lot, because he somehow hits those that seemed forced, I'm just saying he "seems" like he more willing to share the ball.

Paul George looks first team All NBA

Hard to argue after tonight's game, though nothing he did on the defensive end really stuck out to me and he kind of choked the game for them too missing that wide open 3 with :18 left that would have iced the game.

Any doubts in the Lyles pick can be put to rest. Kid is a rockstar.

Becasue I thought the bad officiating stretched beyond Utah?

To me "against" would be more biased in the Pacers favor. Refs sucked don't get me wrong, I just don't think it was gaisnt any team in particular is all. Plenty of bad calls to go around.

Seems to be the theme of the serason and not just Jazz games. Wonder why, has there been some big ref change I don't know about?

How about the one where Miles got blocked by the rim and no one even touched him.

Or the Chris Johnson foul on George where he didn't touch him either but when he landed his foot may have brushed ever so slightly against PG's foot, though it was hard to tell if that even happened -- you call that a foul?

Or the several times Favors got mugged under the basket with no foul?

Or the time George just bulled his way in against Millsap who was in front of him knocking Millsap back and yet the foul called on Millsap?

And was that Mahimi's foul or Hood's on that play where Hood had position and Mahimi reached over his back?

And was that actually a moving screen by Withey who was simply moving toward the basket and Trey following him, to use him as a pick?

It was making me wonder if the refs had bet money on the game it was so bad.

Booner and Boller were biting their tongues in disgust.

I probably forgot a half dozen other bad calls that went against the Jazz.
