What's new

GT: Jazz v Pacers, Sat. 12/5/15 @7:00pm

What a huge win after a lackluster depressing loss to the Magic. The team, and fan base were down,
and Favors took us all on his back.

As amazing as Favors was, Booker was a close second. The man played his heart out, and gave us key rebound after rebound.

Burke, and even Neto to start that 3rd QT were big. Good to see a team effort tonight.

The energy, and emotion late was so amazing to see.

Easily one of the most entertaining games I've seen in my time rooting for the Jazz. Right up there with the victory over OKC that Jamal Tinsley started in '12-'13.

Also was one of the best games you'll ever see Paul George play.. I mean was he unreal last night or what?! gotta tip your cap to that type of performance.

That was a character builder for this young squad -- And they got the W!!! Good ****.

Totally agree with all of this. Plus they whistled Hayward 2 quick fouls which were bogus...

I am just glad they let Hayward body up and shut down PG on OT.

Key play in OT was Jazz down 1, Pacers inbounding and Hayward on PG's a$$ and PG hit the ground, Hayward coast to coast dunk, Jazz up 1.

They seemed to lose their whistle in OT at least..

Was shocked that the refs actually got one right. Kept waiting for a whistle when PG tripped. Also on the PG flop, I just started loling hard when the refs went to replay to see if it was a flagrant worthy foul because they were going to feel like idiots seeing absolutely no contact. Priceless.

Also PG put the bed the Hayward v PG argument. He is a great player.

Don't look now but the Jazz are on the verge of cracking the top-10 offensive and defensive rating club.

Favors made some amazing shots in this game. Just looking at the angles and the arc he had to put on his shot all the while taking contact from the defense had me in awe. Definitely nice to see us win again, I thought the energy was there the whole night. Now if they could just figure out that if they play like that every game that they'd actually go on a winning streak, we'd be in business.

Statements like this are so bunk man. Both players have entire careers ahead of them. Both have had good starts, in different environments. Hayward actually looked better defensively tonight, and he's easily the better passer. George is the better scorer, as of this point.

Let them both play out their careers and we can compare later. If Favors can overtake offensive option #1 status on this team in his 6th season (something no one saw coming) then it should teach us that the jury is still out on these young kids.

Not enough people talking about Burke. His passes out of the p&r are straight money.

Hayward's D has been the big improvement this year for him-- and it cannot be overstated how important this is for us.
