Gun control myths and info

Is the elimination of honest discussion an oversight, or something they are trying to accomplish?
I think since the tweet specifically states liberals are being dishonest in their stated goals, and really just want to ban all guns, then goes on to say never give one inch on gun control, it's pretty obvious that they are not interested in having an honest discussion.

Again, depends on the person. There’s no right answer that encircles all gun right supporters. It’s case by case.

I believe the higher up you go in power, influence and knowledge of the subject the more likely it is that such actions are aimed at a goal and not an over sight.

Sudafed helps thousands upon thousands of people every single day in this country.

I’d love to hear how guns help thousands upon thousands of ordinary citizens every single day.

I’d also love to see the stats on meth. Millions (plural) of lives? Doubt it.

Also, sudafed isnt meth. I have sudafed in my medicine cabinet. Its not meth.
A gun is a killing machine right when you purchase it. Thats what it is made for. Sudafed is nothing like a gun. Heathme is an idiot.

Conventional wisdom is that the left has become more radical on gun control, but I contend that it's actually the right that has done so.

Exhibit one:

Both sides have, but the right more so.

I think we are seeing a gradual trend on the left for forced gun confiscation.

We are seeing a jog/sprint on the right for gun anarchy.

I doubt anyone will bring this up. But recent developments in Hong Kong, Turkey, Poland, Hungary, and Russia (since 1999) cannot be attributed to gun control. Repressive leaders are exploiting religious leaders and disinformation to hammer civil rights and spread paranoia.

Putin fears a free press far more than an armed citizenry. That’s why he’s concentrated so much on owning the airwaves and killing journalists.
Thriller, what is wrong with Poland and Hungary? I suspect that you have not even visited those during the last 5 years?
I have visited Poland and Hungary in 2015, 2016, 2017 and in july 2019. What kind of civil rights are hammered? Or is it bad if a country and its people value more local traditional family life compared to the lifestyle which popular and heavily promoted in some other countries. Hungary and Poland have a long history of romas whose lifestyle is what it is and i guess that even you would not want to have a home near the roma camp.
Of course, because Poland is BIG compared to Baltics, then sometimes the supervisors from Poland who are bosses for the daugthercompanies in Estonia kind of annoying for local workers.

Both have governments which are becoming increasingly nativist (xenophobic), anti-west, and authoritarian. Thats not concerning to you?
