To Carlos Arroyo. He's still playing professionally in Puerto Rico. He appeared in 34 career playoff games during his NBA tenure.

I don't remember jimmer really causing anybody to create an account. Hard so say for sure, but you know, since he never played for the Jazz, i doubt there were many.
He caused certain existing posters to turn into little girls, but I think you're correct that he didn't bring many new posters.

Hmmm... all I know is that every time that there was a rumor about Jimmer being available it caused some people to spaz and say that the jazz should get him

I don’t remember this ever happening. I’m a huge jimmer homer and I never thought the jazz should try hard to get him.

I think this is a myth. Can you find any posts that back up your claim? (I totally get it if you don’t feel like looking for any. I know I wouldn’t if I were you)

I just think the idea gets perpetuated that anyone with some kind of Utah or LDS connection is someone everyone desires. Or people thinking Bolomboy was liked for going to Weber (most people don’t care about college hoops, let alone Weber). But this has only come up with people who had some type of national hype... KVH, Jimmer, Jabari. Ain’t nobody clamoring for Travis Hansen or Mark Madsen.

...and all turned out to be utter trash, too.
Kieth Van Hord was not trash. He was quite good actually.
Jabari was quite good before injury and is still very young. I wouldn't say he turned out to be utter trash. Too early imo.

When Carlos Arroyo was asked by a KSL-TV reporter Thursday if he and Jazz coach Jerry Sloan had discussed their situation privately, he said, "That's internal."
Yeah, even more than we knew. A day later, he was gone.
There must have been some serious "internal" stuff going on.
This external item, however, is crystal clear: The Jazz did the right thing — for both parties. This marriage was doomed.
In trading Arroyo to Detroit, the Jazz showed this is still Sloan's team. It always was. It was never John Stockton's, Karl Malone's or Andrei Kirilenko's team.
Those who disagree might want to keep their luggage nearby — no matter how highly paid they are.
In this case, Arroyo apparently quit working as hard as Sloan expected. Soon communications broke down. Arroyo in exchange for a future first-round draft pick and Elden Campbell isn't overwhelming. But Sloan wasn't getting much return on his $4 million-a-year point guard, either. So they shipped him out, which should make both parties happy. Arroyo gets a new team and Sloan gets rid of a headache.

Wow, I forgot the Jazz got a first round pick off of Arroyo. Boy times have changed.

From 2004--

Arroyo made a two-hands-in-the-air gesture toward Sloan and the Jazz bench during third-quarter play, then traded barbs with Sloan while making his way to his seat.

Arroyo's response to the benching?

"Obviously, he has his reasons," said Arroyo, the Jazz's starter in every game he has played since the start of last season. "And he makes his own decisions, so ... this is his team."

Asked about happened Tuesday, Arroyo — who signed a four-year, $16 million contract with the Jazz last summer — shed no additional light.

"I don't know what happened," he said. "I guess whatever he told you, that's what happened."

There are 56 days until the Jazz open training camp.

In his only three playoff games with the Jazz Carlos Arroyo took %56 of his shots from beyond 16-ft but inside the three point line.

In the playoffs last season Ricky Rubio took the most long twos for the Jazz, but only 15% of his shots came from 16-ft to the 3pt line. Certainly a different era.

Did any player bring more ****** posters to JF than Arroyo? Maybe DWill/Dee Brown?
Boozer brought us Sloanfeld.

DWill brought us ncoloradojazz.

And EenieMeenie invented Donovan.

Seeing that the OG Jazzfanzz got deleted and we all re-signed up, you ask something impossible

That happened before the jimmer draft.

I didn’t have an account pre jimmer draft but I did have an account when jimmer was drafted. You are just mis-remembering again ;)
