We normally go BIG for NYE. Have done private island in Bahamas, cabin beside a volcano in Costa Rica, a flat right at the ball at Timss Square for the millenium....
Enjoying this one because we're just going out to b-dubs for a couple then heading home to spend the evening as a family and being thankful.

I think Sydney in a boat in the water tops my want to do on NYE's list as far as big celebrations go. It's the one every year whenever I see NYE pics that actually makes me think it would be cool to be there:
That would be bad ***. I know some other cities with good harbors don't even let you on the water while they do fireworks, so that's cool.

Not the best New Years - wife is in the hospital. Just got back. She had stomach surgery yesterday. Hopefully she comes home tomorrow.
Could be worse though - home with the kid. Naturally I'm spoiling his *** rotten because he's worried about mom. My wife is already out for the night. Doubt either of us make it to midnight.

Sorry, Deer Creek is a lake up Provo Canyon, and Midway is on the upper end. I assumed you'd know that.
