Yep. I wouldn't be surprised to see the spurs go after him in the offseason and move Pop to the front office full time.Honestly, if the Hawks don't sign Quinn now, he will have better options in the off season.

Which roster with a super-star on it is having a coaching spot open up this off-season?Honestly, if the Hawks don't sign Quinn now, he will have better options in the off season.

Aah.. but herein lies the problem. Certain superstar has already hinted about leaving if this season fails.. if they would go cheap here and flop, it sure wouldnt help in retaining his services. If they just waited a couple months they would get him for free, so we really have no real power here. They best we could realistically get is either a 2nd round pick or saving some cash.
Yeah, they got some power though. Anyone who thinks the Jazz are getting a 1st rounder are out of their mind, but maybe the swap idea could happen. If they just waited a couple months they would get him for free, so we really have no real power here. They own their pick, no reason (that Im aware of) they couldnt do a swap. Can Atlanta even do a swap I wonder?
Unless Atlanta is waiting until after the season, his contract is a matter to deal with. He's has an option for next year, but I imagine he'd not exercise it in this case.Absolutely no one (that I've seen) is talking about Snyder being under contract w/ Utah and Atlanta needing to pay Utah to get him though, so that doesnt really have me hopeful about what the Jazz could potentially get.
All the reporting is they want to get it done ASAPUnless Atlanta is waiting until after the season, his contract is a matter to deal with. He's has an option for next year, but I imagine he'd not exercise it in this case.
Then Utah either does Quin a solid and release him or the Hawks are giving Ainge more of that sweet, sweet cocaine called draft picks. All the reporting is they want to get it done ASAP
Oh yeah the Jazz pick... a swap on that. If the Jazz end up having a better record than the Hawks a swap would would have some minor value.I’d probably do it just for the option to pick swap with either the Jazz or Wolves pick this year. At worst, he walks for free and you gave yourself a shot at moving up a couple of spots with one of those picks. I’d love to get them to do it for a swap with the 76ers pick, but that seems unlikely. At best, the Hawks crater and you get another shot at a lottery pick.
