What's new

Hayward as a SF......never again.

Hayward has intangibles you're not giving him credit for. When he is running the offense the Jazz become a completely different team. I look forward to seeing what it would look like if Burks plays alongside him in the back court.

Seriously.....
What is this guys problem?
I thought the Jazz looked really together tonight when Hayward was running the offense.
In no means do I think he should start as a point guard or anything (because hopefully Devin Harris can keep showing that kind of leadership), but when he runs the offense it reminds me of a partial triangle offense.
This new offense has intangibles that remind me of the old Sloan offense, mixed with the Lakers old triangle offense.
Now that I've seen these guys run it pretty well, it looks like it can be pretty formidable when ran correctly.

Oh.... and don't worry about Hayward on the defensive end, because I guarantee he will just continue to get better.
Come on now, he's still a baby :-)

If Hayward is the heartbeat of our offense (like one has said) than we are screwed. He is an ok defender at best. An ok offensive player at BEST. If Ty Corbin continues to start Hayward I would fire him. Hayward as our heatbeat? We need an open heart surgery performed then. I'm not saying he's horrible, I'm just saying if he was the heatbeat in my chest, I would get a pacemaker. Lakers heartbeat is Kobe, Chicago is Rose, Heat is Lebron, Wade, New York is Melo, Utah Jazz is GORDON HAYWARD. Not a good look. Let's trade him for a floor mop.

Oh so your saying that because Gordon Hayward doesn't have some dumbass nickname, that he can't be the heartbeat of a teams offense?
How is it not a good look?
I wasn't aware that this was a ****ing beauty contest.

So blind and by choice no less. Being the heartbeat does not necesarily mean the guy that makes 30 ppg. How about the guy that makes it all flow and work. As far as when melo was in Denver I would have called Billups the heartbeat of that offense not Melo.

I think Ty likes the flexibility of moving Hayward from 3 to 2, but I would be surprised if he starts him at the 2. When was the last time the Jazz had a wing that they could run the offense through....NEVER. Hayward can consistently drive, which is a valuable NBA skill. If he can develop a pull-up jumper like he hit at the end of the game, he could be great.
