Interesting. SOME people believe racialism is a joke. Noted.
And people wonder why Burks isn't playing. Here are two players getting "demoted". One works harder. Another sulks and demands a trade.
Burks demanded a trade?
I like Hayward off the bench too. Not that he's not a starting caliber player-- he is-- but he's not a good fit in our starting lineup right now.
When Hayward starts, he's the third option, behind Jefferson and Millsap. Most of his game as a starter is throwing the ball down low to Jefferson.
When Hayward comes off the bench, he's the man. First option. He gets more touches, more offense, and more playmaking.
Next year is Hayward's year.
Trolls don't have brains. Just stop responding and feeding the trollMay be you should stop being an idiot. Have you thought of that?
I wouldn't call Hayward to the second unit a demotion, as he plays less with Al and Millsap. Also did Burks demand a trade or just speculation on your part. As for me if he isn't going to play trade him!And people wonder why Burks isn't playing. Here are two players getting "demoted". One works harder. Another sulks and demands a trade.
So do bad teams..... Just sayin'!!!!
I've heard this before, and he confirmed in this article that Hayward doesn't mind coming off the bench:

My question is do we like this or not? On the one hand it means that he is more flexible as far as how he is used and he won't be a locker room cancer or a pouty Millsap - er player I mean.
On the other hand, does this mean that he doesn't have the fire to truly be great?
I know he's really competitive, I have heard about how he is really pissed if he loses a game of one on one. Do we call BS on him being fine with coming off the bench? Is he just really good at PR stuff? I think of all of the players, he is the one who is most likely to be ok with it, but that brings us back to the question: Are we ok with him being ok with it?
you gotta wonder, would hayward be coming off the bench if he were black?
maybe hayward has just accepted the reverse racialism in the NBA at this point.
maybe, he needs to insert himself into the starting lineup and refuse to go to the bench until officials physically force him.
I'm not saying Hayward has the opportunity to be the NBA's reverse Rosa Parks, but I'm not saying he doesn't, either.
You decide.

Hmm, well here's a question then: Who is better; Hayward or Jefferson/Millsap? Should Hayward be behind these guys based on NOW ability (not potential) or is Hayward backing off to avoid conflict? If Hayward is better than these guys than shouldn't they be passing the ball to him? When Hayward starts, he's the third option, behind Jefferson and Millsap. Most of his game as a starter is throwing the ball down low to Jefferson.
Got to love Hayward. He's playing a lot better since coming off the bench. Whatever works he's ok with, as long as he plays.
That's why we like this kid

Not really seeing how thats "playing a lot better"
Well he's averaging 2 more PPG in 10 less minutes on the court. Though with 2 games it's a really small sample size. I think most of it is just the proverbial eyeball test where it seems like he's more active and controls the ball more with the 2nd unit.
