How's that not healthy? I don't think the length of the contract matters, as the Jazz were in contention the 2nd year of AK's contract, so it wouldn't have mattered if he signed a 4 year vs a 6 year. Either way his contract would habe ended up screwing over the jazz. What's your opinion?

I remember reading something similar last year. I think I also read that is was somewhere between 13 and 14. Probably still too high, but based on prior experience, what did they think would happen?

One article had the Jazz and Hayward "several million apart." I tend to believe that was on a per/basis. If it's just a few million over the life of the deal, you split the difference and call it a day.
