Hayward Sprained AC - Questionable for Monday

Bad idea. I have no idea how severe this injury is, but you play him when he is healthy enough to play. This team needs minutes together to continue to build chemistry.

I'm not going to dismiss this point entirely, as I agree somewhat, but there can be other benefits to development and team chemistry that come from Gordo sitting out some games, such as other players having to step up and take a bigger role. Exum and Hood especially could benefit from having to carry more responsibility.

Don't think there is a lot of risk for more serious injury, similar to playing on a sprained ankle.
I disagree. Anytime you have a sprain, you're forced to overcompensate by using the other side more or unnaturally to take pressure off the injured side. Shut Gordon down for at least 1 week. And this is on the heels of having a back that is still hurting.

Give him at least a week of treatment. No more playoff push. Like Freak said, give some others a chance to step up and build them a little more. It can only help moving forward.

This.

Season's over. It's sink or swim time.

OK, so there is less risk of injury then with a sprained ankle then. He's not bearing weight on his arms.

If we get a major injury between now and the end of this season to one of our core players I will be pretty bummed. That is all I thought when Hayward hit the ground on that play.

Its simple if there is moderate risk to cause more damage you sit him. If this really is low risk, and he should be fine, he plays.

Pretty much this. There is no point in risking a serious injury and the long-term health of a player that's considered a cornerstone for the future. Plus it would be a good time to see if others players (Exum, Hood, Trey, etc.) are capable of carrying a greater load.

Knowing next to nothing about this type of injury, my initial thought was to give Hayward a week off and then re-evaluate him.
