What's new

Hayward's Blog - If I played @KingJames 1-on-1, I'd crush him. My new blog on why I'm the best

I think he knows that. You seriously don't see the work he's already put in. Stop talking about things you don't know a damned thing about!!!!! God I hate ignorant people.

Really? You THINK he knows that? Haha, you're the ignorant one. And yes, I do see the work that he has put in, and the fact that he doesn't deserve the contract he got. He isn't that good. I think you need to get off his nuts already.

I don't care about his hobbies, I care how he performs for the basketball team that I like.

Your post shows otherwise. You originally posted that his playing video games is "another reason I'm not a big fan of him," so obviously you DO care about his hobbies.

For those who don't want to click, here's Hayward's post as quoted in the article:

Hayward said:
One on one versus LeBron James? He would get crushed. We would all be witnesses to a straight up annihilation.
The reigning MVP, Kevin Durant? I'm LOLing. Go ahead and put him with Russell Westbrook. Throw Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and Dwight Howard in there, just for kicks. They'd still have no chance.

Honestly, take any five NBA players you want and put them on the same squad. It doesn't really matter. I'd beat them all. It would be like playing a bunch of kindergartners.

I repeat: I'm the best in the game. And probably in all the other major sports, too.

No athlete on earth is as good at League of Legends as I am.

But apparently what he tweeted out was just the start of that quote:

Personally I think it's pretty clever.

He was trying to have a laugh and he did.

But sadly enough we live in what I call a "bumper sticker society". Basically people read titles/bumper stickers only and base their entire reaction off of that. They miss any irony, facts, content, satire...

Yep. I'm with the crowd that thinks this was extremely clever. Good to see Hayward is in a jovial mood. He moped around last season looking like a close relative had just died. Reminds me of the scene in the Wizard of Oz after Dorothy kills the witch.

Do you think the Jazz players dance around, talk about Corbin and sing, "Ding dong, the witch is dead?"

MC P...is that a new rapper?
Yes, this sort of wrapper:

If you read the comments about this, people love it. It probably got him a lot of new fans and twitter followers. Basically, if you are a video game fan and a basketball fan, you probably like Hayward now regardless if you are a Jazz fan or not. If you don't like video games and you don't like Hayward, you probably still don't like him.

His site got a ton of traffic which equals more money.

When it comes to professional athletes who can rain down threes on the court and execute pentakills off it, there can be only one, and he goes by GDHayward.

GDHayward = God Hayward?

Think that was what Hayward was counting on.
