Hear for Yourselves. Deron on 1320 right now

Huh. I have, at the very least, the following tweets still listed from Luhm:

If Deron Williams is running the Jazz, I'm not sure what the future holds.

Ironic: Sloan resigns after one of Deron Williams' worst games in the NBA.

As Williams angle to this story is reported, I will be interested to hear the crowd reaction to Williams on Friday night. Booz?

Wonder if he had it to do over again if Sloan would have pushed for Deron Williams over Chris Paul?

And the three-shot, which I don't really put too much credence in:

One trusted source says Deron Williams-Sloan relationship was the big factor in this, despite press conference spin.

The trusted source, in fact, is quite angry that Deron Williams now has the ability to force management's hand.

Source: "Deron Williams quit the last month." Wow.

Very little short of a maximum-potential, heroic effort by Deron for the rest of the season will rescue his reputation now. Fair or not, he's put himself squarely under the gun. Time for him to put up huge numbers and huge effort, or shut up and get out.

"many players questioned Sloan's handling of everything from playing time and rotational decisions to his insistence on sticking with his revered offensive system." That quote from the Tribune sums it all up! And the Jazzfanz board has devoted thousands of threads discussing the very same problems! We can't all be wrong. Sloan had to go.
