I think Phoenix kinda did bad here... Nurk has slowed down quite a bit on defense and that's a big body with some injuries... the rest is a pile of meh... I mean there are some backend rotation/bench players but they already had a few guys of that quality. Must really be done with Ayton.

Here is the galaxy brain of why it isn't a joke...

Giannis goes out and does a few pods where he all "man... I ain't trying to stay here if they ain't winning". Then Heat get a little conservative with offers cuz "bruh Giannis gonna ask out soon". A lower offer means Bucks can compete...

Heat may have gotten royally dicked here if Lillard's presence means Giannis wants to stick around... a real double play there.

Also, could just be Jimmy being Jimmy... he ain't serious doe.

Heat took an L today and anyone saying different is full of it. This one was gift wrapped. Their assets are okay and they held back... they won't get a bigger fish with the mediocre assets they have. Multiple GMs pushing back on specific requests is good I think.

Heat better hope Jacquz and Jovic are amazing... cuz if not its a bad look.

Get real man... they were offering Herro and two picks... holding out on Caleb Martin, Jovic (who may not be good), and Jaquez (who I like but who knows). This ain't like the Clips mortgaging their future. Those guys will have to be very good, very soon to justify holding out.

Now maybe that offer doesn't get it done... but they were willing to mortgage like 80-90% of their future and got cheap/prideful.
