draftexpress. and they go by predraft measurements. and it's my retarded hobby, so i try to look at every possible measurement out there.
1. if you get measured in the morning, you might be 1/2 inch taller compared to getting measured at night. in extreme cases it can be as much as 1 inch.
2. and some dudes have a bad posture even at young age. i have a friend who looks shorter than me. i always think i'm taller. but when he fully stretches he is almost 1/2 inch taller than me. many overweight dudes are like this.
3. and some dudes like kevin love may have napoleon complex, and always try to look taller may even wear a lift.
4. you can sorta cheat your height testing too. for these big guys cheating 1/4 -1/2 inch is piece of cake. stick your chest out, point up, and lift your foot slightly without getting noticed.
maybe hibbert is 'only' gobert's height. gobert is 7ft 1/2, but listed at 7ft 2. and gobert looks like a giant on the court.
Just reading through some old threads I missed and saw this. Many things can affect height, for me it was surgery. When I got home from my mission I stood barefoot next to the doorframe where my mom had measured my growth until I was too tall for her to comfortably mark it (she is very short, like 5'3" or something), and I marked my height at that point. With a tape measure I measured the mark at 6' 2 1/2. After I was done with my cancer treatments and 2 surgeries on my upper back and neck including a 4 vertebra fusion, just for fun we made a new mark at the same doorway. I then measured, again without shoes and at the time about 15 years older, at just about 6' 1/2. Lately my youngest son (17 years old) sprouted well ahead of me and my other son, so we did some measurements. Without shoes he is 6' 3 1/4, and I am just about 1/8" under 6'. Funny how it can and does change for various reasons.
