Definitely going Exum. His playmaking potential is thru the roof. I have nothing against Gordon either. I'll be fine with the Jazz picking him, but less so if Exum is on the board. And this is from someone who still wants Smart.

Tony Parker is by far the better player than Leonard. It's not even close. Tony Parker is a hall of famer. I don't think Leonard will ever sniff the HOF.

I don't even see how that's a debate really.

Tony Parker is so underrated. He has been his whole career. People should really debating if he is the best point guards in the game. Even one of the best players. All he does is win. Arguably the best player on the best team in the world.

Leonard just scored a career high last game of 29.

Tony Parker was winning championships and finals mvps before Leonard ever came around.

Tony Parker is the Eli Manning of Basketball.

You forget he is one of the best at his position during the regular season, then when he gets in the playoffs he just dominates. Obviously Manning doesnt do it as consistently because there is more parity in the NFL.

Gordon Will be able to guard Blake in a year or so. Clippers are in the west. Khawhi Leonard with Spurs for the forseeable future so Gordon can guard him. Best scoreer in the game at okc, Durantula. Gordon can guard him. Plus Gordon will make Utah a little more Flashier which lets face it Utah plays boring bball to the general public(not us actual fans who love the game). Constant ESPN Highlight Dunks and Blocks by Gordon.. Its an easy choice Utah.

Some good points here..we need to guard Durant and Blake to get out of the West.

That's not what I'm saying.

I'm saying, if you can choose 1 player at the start of their careers - who would you choose? Parker or Kawhi??? Parker did win all those Chips and Kawhii had a couple of good Finals game but he hasn't actually won anything YET.
you are comparing the careers of a 30 something vs a 22 year old. kinda dumb

So is Tony Parker a Hall of Fame candidate?
not just a candidate. he is gauranteed to be in the hall of fame

Kinda strange how Exum is the expert's clear favourite at the #4 pick but most JazzFanz will take Gordon over Exum?

Is it because we haven't had a dunker since the 80's????
jeremy evans won the dunk contest bro.

favors great dunker
burks good dunker
hayward good dunker

You're talking about a guy who was in the top 5 of MVP voting vs a 22 year old.

C'mon guys, really?

A sage scout once said to me "I can take 1 look at a guy and I can tell you if he'll be great or not".
I remember Michael Jordan saying that when he went to DC as the GM, just before he picked Kwame Brown. We all know how that worked out.

Obviously that meant he isn't a sage scout.

Gordon vs Exum.

That is tough. Like Cy said, it's so hard to know who Exum is or how good he is. I'm just trusting what the scouts are saying. If he wasn't just placed at the top of mocks, I really wouldn't know about him.

I lean Gordon just for the possibility that he might fill that 3 hole. I don't really care for some point guard controversy between Exum and Burke, with one or both not happy, and looking at waiting period to see what move we need to make. With Aaron Gordon, we can just hit the ground running possibly.

IAWTP.
Less controversy at every rotation. Also insurance in case Hayward is offered a contract the Jazz don't want to match.

Bigs
: have a three man rotation with Kanter, Favors and Gobert. Don't think Gobert is ready for 30 mins/per so Jazz likely sign a veteran, maybe even bring back Marvin. Or the second pick could be someone like Payne. Also keeps the option open to bring over Tomic.

Wings: Burks, Hayward and Gordon. Gordon likely comes off the bench with Hayward starting at SF and Burks starting at SG. Alec will be happy to start. Aaron has less pressure and can start by dominating his matchups against backup players.

PG's: Same three as last year. Burke is given another season to improve and establish himself as Utah's starter. Neto plays FT another year in Europe. Jazz tempted to release JLIII but he threatens to have his father publish the tell-all book about the drug-filled escapades of the Jazz back in the 70's and 80's. Reportedly his memoirs include a tale of Larry H. doing mushrooms, hallucinating that he was actually a member of the team, donning a Jazz uniform (complete with those tight short-shorts) and prancing on the court during warmups.

I don't know if Favors is a great dunker anymore. Didn't really see too many great dunks from him last season. Maybe it was just a nagging injury.

i think he is still a great dunker if he wants to be. (the athleticism and size/power is there)

he just doesnt have the desire to do flashy dunks.

i do remember in the recent jazz vs portland highlight video that was posted seeing favors head at the rim on 2 dunks from that game
