Hood traded to Cleveland for Crowder; Johnson to Sacramento

I think he's gonna do great here. I was listening to the Woj podcast and Tim Legler said that he felt like Jae didn't feel that his skills were appreciated in Cleveland and he didn't feel like Jae ever felt comfortable or welcome there. I had the same impression to be honest. I think that in Quin's system, with the team chemistry we have, and with fans and teammates who will really appreciate his hustle plays and effort, we'll see him get back to how he was playing in Boston. Maybe even better.

Yeah same level but I don't think 'better' ... pretty hard (probably impossible) to get the same amount of production or effort out of a player that Brad Steven was able to get.

Crowder is a much better fit with Utah than Hood was. He's a defensive 3-4 that can guard the 2. He's a solid corner three shooter and can finish at the rim.

Super strong and tough known for setting great screens and has the ability to score off the pick and roll as the ball handler.

Great pick up for a player that wanted out of Utah none the less.

I don't think it's coincidence. This FO has done a great job with chemistry and buy in candidates.

I am very excited about the Crowder pickup especially since we were able to get a valuable player for someone that we were going to lose anyway. In addition, "fit" is so important to a player's success. I see great things for Jae.

Just saw that we've got 2 MORE YEARS of Jae Crowder AFTER this year at $7.3m and $7.8m. That is a CHEAP contract in this day and age.

Wow. A wing who could guard 1 through to 4, you can throw him to lock down the likes of Paul George, Westbrook, Klay, Durant, LeBron, etc. He can play within the system and can knock down corner 3's.

Damn, that is a GREAT get for the Jazz.
