I think 1% is much lower than it actually is. We will see. I wont be shocked if he gets 15 million per year plus on his next deal.

I was hoping for a decent pick coming back, but this isn't bad. Of all the players that were rumored to come back in a Hood trade, Crowder was really the only one worth consideration.

Also, for anyone who wants to complain about this move, you better not be one of the dweebs who was booing Hood. I think there's a possibility that Hood requested a trade and this was the best DL could do at this point in time.

In the future, I hope Jazz fans learn to keep their ****ing mouths shut when they feel like booing a player.

Hood doesn't have the clout to "demand a trade." He's going into RFA, and he can choose to pout or not try, but he knows he'll lose money if he does. The Jazz had ALL the leverage with him. To me, this signifies that the Jazz FO decided that Hood's downsides (inconsistency, inefficiency (low free throw and assist rate) and injury proneness) were not worth what it would have required to keep him in RFA notwithstanding his obvious offensive talents.

As for the booing, if his ego is that fragile that he wants out for getting booed one time for playing like *****, well then ...

I don't want Burks getting minutes. He's not good.
 
The real winning trade of the day. We traded a guy who misses games for bruises and cause he often poops his pants. And we got a guy who is a perfect fit. "Hoods not inconsistent though"

Had Boston thrown in Crowder for the Hayward deal, Jazzfandom would have been ecstatic. I'm one who thinks (hopes) Cleveland was an aberration and the Crowder we're getting is the Boston Crowder who was pretty damned good on a very team friendly salary.

Cleveland was such a dumpster fire, and Crowder clearly had no place or role there, I don't think you can use that as a yardstick to judge this deal.

Royce seems like more of a 3/4 than a 2 to me. Listed as a small forward. Hood more of a shooting guard imo (as is burks). I guess we will see what happens.
Either way I like the trade.

Clout? Are you ****ing kidding me? Enes Kanter ring any bells? Utah doesn't want players who don't want to be here. It's not good for team chemistry.

As for your comments about the booing, you'd have to be an idiot not to have noticed Mitchell's reaction to that. Other players see how their buddies are treated. That kind of attitude kinda makes some fans deserve to have their stars walk away.
