One thing I haven't talked about is Wade's ability to play the point. This team could run lineups with him at PG and Ray at SG, with Rice or Hill at SF. So many different potential combinations.

Except that combined, Rondo and Bynum won 3 rings...

Bynum love it or hate is, is the backbone of those Lakers' Chips with the ultra soft Gasol.

Same thing with Rondo - he's the engine that runs that Celtics geriatric ward.

Hate the personality, but PLEASE don't hate their game.

Think KG in his Minnesota days. He was known to be able to guard SF, PF and occasionally some C's.

Or you could play Ray Allen at SF and make Garnett run through a **** ton of screens.

Dwill, Allen, Wade could all start and create mismatches for whoever they have to put Garnett on. Do they try to overplay to Garnett then, who is not as good as offensive player as Dirk, but both players pretty much operate in the same space?

I like the idea of playing small ball around Hakeem, then letting everyone else run in transition past KKK's slower team. Dwill and Allen give you good enough shooters, and Wade gives you an elite wing playmaker. The team would be small, but wouldn't have much trouble rebounding and they can only exploit KG or Dirk one at a time to full effect.
 
And can we please do a current NBA draft after this one? It would be way easier to judge for one thing because we wouldn't have to translate for different eras and styles as much.

Not only that, but it would be easier to judge since everyone has seen each player play a decent amount.

I want to do current players next, fo sho.
 
Take away votes from people who hates my guts for no good reason (Cy, Num, [size/HUGE] fixed [/size], Thee Jazz Fanz, UGLI), and it's a pretty close 9-13 score...


It's not ideal, but I'm okay with that... thanks again guys who voted for me without bias.

KKK you lost bro.

Spycam has the best player on his team (Hakeem) and you play a guy out of position (KG). Your bench is also sub-par. Your best thing is the size advantage of Dirk, but Barkley can nearly equally exploit Dirk on the other end. Also think Kidd is an overrated PG and Harden is just a 3rd year player.

Not to mention he can just hack-a-shaq the hell out of you (Rashard Lewis's most important role on the team), forcing you to put Bynum or Griffin, then the game is over.

What are you smoking? First round was a landslide - it'll be too obvious for them to vote against me. [size/HUGE] fixed [/size] for example said he won't vote simply because both teams are bad... I mean c'mon now. That's really stretching the vindictiveness....

2nd round against a decent opponent was their chance to really let it rip.

Actually looked back at KKK's first round matchup and I remember really wanting to vote for Fish, but he had Allen Iverson on his team as a starter.

This makes my breakfast taste so much sweeter. Didn't think such a game would expose a user's stubbornness and prejudicial attitude so hard :D:D:D
But it's good to know whose input to double check in the future. Half knowledge is and has always been dangerous!
